Some important people in the Confucianism religion are Mencius and Xunzi. Both Mencius and Xunzi helped develop Confucianism. Mencius helped clarify the belief that human nature is good. Xunzi agreed but he was more pessimistic about human nature and he emphasized the importance of education and ritual.By doing this, he helped people stay on the right track. Confucianism does not have a supreme being but, they do believe in Mandate of Heaven. |
